My eyeballs have been targeting Balm Balm ever since last summer (seriously! Check out my first wishlist post evuuuur. I also recently got Martina Gebhardt’s Salvia Facial Lotion, which deserves a mention and, possibly, a separate blog post, because even a year later, I still love it.), when I first encountered their products. A little devil (or an angel) had been sitting on my shoulder and whispering “Buy, buy…buy” ever since. And so I listened. Back in March, when my skin was having yet another bout of chaotic dryness and acne, and whatnot, I stumbled upon Balm Balm’s Little Miracle Rosehip Serum, which had amazing reviews, 100% organic ingredients and an affordable pricetag. I ordered it without too many hesitations, and I have to say – it has found its’ way into my skincare routine. It’s a neat little thing to own.

Taip pat nesenai įsigijau ir Martina Gebhardt šalavijų veido losjoną, kuris yra vertas paminėjimo, kadangi myliu jį net praėjus metams.), kuomet pirmą sykį susidūriau su jų produktais. Nuo pat tos akimirkos, mažas velniūkštis (o gal ir angelas) vis šnabždėjo man į ausį “Piiiiiirk, pirk!”, kol galiausiai paklusau. 😀 Tuomet kovą, kentėdama nuo eilinio odos “sausumo ir išbėrimų priepuolio”, susidūriau su Balm Balm’s Little Miracle Rosehip Serumu, kuris buvo giriamas įvairiausiuose vartotojų atsiliepimuose, galėjo pasigirt ekologiška sudėtimi ir nebloga kaina. Tad labai nedelsusi jį užsisakiau, ir tenka pripažint – produktas rado savo vietą mano veido priežiūros rutinoje.

And I agree. This serum has definitely helped to improve my skin’s overall texture, which, while still not perfect – is not as rough and bumpy as it used to be, it’s smoother and plumper. I don’t know if it’s affecting my blemishes in any way, what I did notice though, was the fact that it didn’t cause any new ones to appear, so I’ll just happily announce that this serum isn’t pore-clogging. Therefore, acne-prone ladies (and guys) – do not fret! It’s safe for you to use. A lot of oils are, but that’s a different kind of topic haha. Sensitive and mature types also shouldn’t be afraid, as I found it to be quite gentle and non-irritating albeit still powerful. In fact, I think it’s one of those “made-for-all” products, that just manages to cover all the bases – it’s very hydrating and moisturizing, soothing and rejuvenating, and it doesn’t cause breakouts. That’s a total winner in my books. The oil/serum itself is quite thin in texture, so it may not be rich enough (if used entirely alone) for the Sahara-dry skins out there, but you can use it either as your nighttime facial treatment/oil, wear it alone as your daily moisturizer, or you can just layer it or mix a drop or two into your moisturizer to boost its’ magical powers. The oil won’t make you look greasy, unless you pour half of the bottle on to your face, which I wouldn’t do. And you shouldn’t either – if used alone, 3 or 4 drops are just enough to apply on (slightly) damp skin. If I want to boost my regular moisturizer, I’ll just add a drop or two and slap it on. The scent is quite lovely either – it’s light and mostly herbally, though my nose senses some floral notes in it as well. As pictured above, the product comes in a dark glass bottle with a dropper. Quite simple and convenient. Overall, it’s a great product, something I could totally repurchase if I were to run out of it. A little miracle indeed, this, along with organic Jojoba oil, just keeps bringing some vitality back to my face, it actually looks more glowy and less dull. For £13.25, you probably can’t beat it. I got mine from feelunique (I caught Balm Balm on an offer there, so I also got their Rose Geranium lip balm, and received a 10ml bottle of Frankincense Light Facial Oil as a gift), but you can find it on Balm Balm’s official website, Naturisimo and Lovelula as well.

Ir aš pritariu gamintojo žodžiams! Serumas tikrai pagerino mano odos paviršių, ko pasekoje mano oda neatrodė tokia grubi bei nelygi – ir tapo švelnesne. Nežinau ar tai turi kokios nors įtakos mano spuogams, tačiau pastebėjau, jog naujų pabėrimų neatsirado, tad džiugiai galiu pavadinti šį serumą porų nekemšančiu. Tad į spuogus linkusią odą turinčios – nebijokit! Serumas tinkamas naudojimui. Jautrios ir brandžios odos savininkės taip pat gali drąsiai bandyti – serumas yra švelnus ir neerzinantis, nors ir veiksmingas. Tiesą pasakius, atrodo, jog tai produktas, tiksiantis daugeliui, kadangi yra gan “plataus” poveikio – stipriai drėkinantis, raminantis ir skatinantis odos atsinaujinimą, taip pat nekemšantis porų. Mano akimis – tikrai vertas išbandyti. Pats aliejus/serumas – kiek skystokas ir “nesunkus”, tad itin (itin!) sausą odą turinčioms jo vieno gali ir nepakakti, tačiau jį naudoti galima kaip naktinį veido aliejų, taip pat serumas tinkamas ir kaip dieninė veido priežiūros priemonė, o ir norint pastiprinti savo įprasto veido kremo magiškas savybes – galima sluoksniuoti ar tiesiog įmaišyti lašiuką ar du. Pasitepus veidas neatrodys pernelyg riebaluotai (nebent susiteptumėt pusę buteliuko, ko pati nedarau ir niekam nerekomenduoju 😀 ) – tereikia 3-4 lašiukų. Kvapas taip pat labai malonus – kiek žolelinis, tačiau maniškė nosis užuodžia ir gėlines natas. Kaip pavaizduota nuotraukoje, produkto pakuotė – paprastas tamsaus stiklo buteliukas su pipete. Gan paprasta ir patogu. Apibendrinant – tai puikus produktas, kažkas tokio, ką tikrai galėčiau pirkti dar kartą, jam pasibaigus. “Mažytis stebuklėlis” išties, kartu su Jojobos aliejumi, jis tiesiog “įpūčia” šiek tiek gyvybės į mano veidą, kuris nebeatrodo toks negyvas, o kartais net ir sveikai švyti (tiesą pasakius, nenoriu pervertint savo odos 😀). O ir už tokią kainą sunkoka būtų rasti geresnių alternatyvų. Saviškį buteliuką pagriebiau feelunique (nuolaidos metu taip pat pirkau ir jų lūpų balzamą, dar gaudama 10ml Frankincenso veido aliejaus dovanų), tačiau serumą taip pat galite rasti ir Balm Balm oficialioje parduotuvėje, Naturisimo bei Lovelula.

P.S. Mano mama, kuri turi puikią (patikėkit) normalią, kartais linkusią į sausumą odą, taip pat mėgsta šį serumą. Tai va.
