I am big fan of you from the beginning 🙂
We have been even mailing few times
I’m travelling with my family and visiting at least 10 places of your list every year
As we have been in Bali – Sep 2022 I have picked up :
Bulgari – Ocean Cliff villa
Mandapa Rice Field villa ( I think nr 12)
Amankila – infiniti pool villa

Truly, I have to say that Amankila was my first and last experience with AMAN brand. This villa was the most expensive of all resorts at Bali , there was no direct butler service and quality of everything was very poor .
Mandapa food/service/quality of villa was like a high end one on Maldives – so far we visited Anantara Kihawah / Joali/ Veela .

Def vote for Oberoi – can’t imagine why it would be left of a “top” list. Authentic, classic, over the top service, non-sterile cookie cutter rooms like some on this list. Would not stay anywhere else in Seminyak except Oberoi – going back for 20 nights soon.

Oberoi was fab. Breakfasts to die for. Restaurant was wonderful for dinner. Staff could not do enough for you. The only thing that got to me was the heat, coming from chilly Uk, took some getting used to.

I just cancelled my booking at Anantara Uluwatu based on feedback here (already had misgivings), and considering Oberoi. Like the authenticity and beach – is there any negativity I should consider? I can’t find much on the internet. We love beach vacations and serenity, for reference. Thank you so much! I’m bookmarking this site for future!

I think not all those who voted have been to all resorts. Therefore the most visited resorts get more votes. That’s why I have not voted. I’ve been to Bulgari and Banyan Tree and really loved Bulgari. Banyan was bit too touristy to me.

I have Yet to stay at any of these Top 10 Resorts as they are not within my Budget!! Though I would love to experience such Luxury perhaps one day!! At these Luxury Resort/Resident Prices it would take me a very very long time to save up!! One can only dream!!!! Life all about the $$$$$$$$ Sadly enough!!
