My favorite hotel in London is the COMO The Halkin (https://www.comohotels.com/en/thehalkin) because of its well-situated & quiet Belgravia location, its size (boutique), the kind service, the spacious & well furnished rooms and one of the best breakfast ever experienced (based on 3 stays in 8 years)!
we love the milestone. 5 star hotel with great location. excellent breakfast and afternoon tea.
it is a smaller hotel which we love. better than the lanesborough where we stayed a couple of times. the milestone is warm and friendly with all the lux of any other 5 star hotel.
What about Claridges?
Claridges and the Corinthia should definitely make this list in my opinion!
Missing Connaught, Claridges and Dorchester. If you omitted on purpose, you should do a blog post with the 5 runner ups and why.
and brown’s. rocco forte is up with four seasons, imho
but please i am not criticizing. i love your reviews.
Claridges didn’t even make the list???
It would be magnificent to stay at any one of these hotels. Definitely on the bucket list. Really a nice collection on photographs to truly show their uniqueness!
My list:
1. The Goring
2. Claridge’s
3. Covent Garden Hotel
4. The Connaught
5. The Lanesborough
6. The Stafford London
7. L’oscar
8. The Dorchester
9. Ham Yard Hotel
10. The Franklin
The Ritz ?
The Savoy ?
Etc etc
I cannot agree with the list …
My top 10 are:
1. Claridges (by far the best hotel in London)
2. Brown’s Hotel
3. The Langham
4. The Cadogan
5. The Savoy
6. The Ritz London
7. Mandarin Oriental
8. The Connaught
9. The Goring
10. Corinthia Hotel
We stayed at the Savoy, found the decor very dated, service was good but little bit tacky, rather than elegant and refined it seemed more casual and relaxed.
