BA first class from LHR to AUH which started again in April 2024. On par with business class Etihad and Qatar. So disappointing, 100% will not fly with them again.
They need to look at the carriers mentioned above and learn about service, whats offered and comfort. BA are nowhere near them

Yes. Have flown BA first class twice on London to Denver, in 2017 and 2019. Cabin grew, on board food and drink very good. Lounge fair. Seat, space etc very small and basic compared with other first class cabins. It’s more like a business class seat and cabin, with more first class seats crammed into the space than other airlines. On both occasions my luggage failed to arrive in Denver with the flight and customer service was woeful. All in all, it’s not real first class and for the price is a poor offering compared with competitors. I won’t be flying with BA again, that’s for sure.

Was looking to fly BA to Johannesburg and your review was very thorough. Thanks. Only question i had was that you described the meals as excellent and scrumptious, but then you gave them a 7/10. Seems low rating for “excellent” meals.
