It’s the second disaster with a brand-new Boeing 737 MAX following a crash last October, when a Lion Air flight went down 13 minutes after takeoff, killing all 189 on board. This has led to intense scrutiny over the Boeing 737 MAX, with travelers, airlines and aviation authorities around the world being worried about its safety. The Boeing 737 MAX is the newest version of the Boeing 737, which is the most popular commercial plane in the sky, with over 10,000 of them having been delivered.
