I went to India, I LOVED it. I was a few times. First time was Agra, Jaipur, Delhi and Udaipur. I stayed at The Oberoi Amarvilas, SUJƁN Rajmahal Palace, The Taj Mahal Hotel and Taj Lake Palace. Second time I went to Mumbai and Hyderabad. I stayed at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai and Taj Falaknuma Palace. And the third time I went to Varanasi and Kolkata. I stayed at Taj Nadesar Palace and The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata. I am not an expert on Indian hotels, so can you please tell me if the choices were good? Greetings.

We went to Conrad Bora Bora with my husband for 10 days in August and it was great. We also chose it over FS and St Regis because of what you mentioned – lots of bad reviews about bad maintenance. When we were there we saw the other hotels and Conrad had definitely the best location compare to the rest of hotels. The only problem was the food, not good enough for a 5 star hotel.

Having said that, would definitely go back to Maldives next time, from our experience the quality of service is much higher and really luxurious. Bora bora was beautiful itself as an island but the hotels do not have such competition as in Maldives and therefore deliver less (my conclusion). For us, Six Senses or Soneva hotels in Maldives are definitely the best in the world, incomparable to any Bora Bora hotels.

Korea is NOT ‘like’ Japan. Japan has copied a lot from Korea (especially the ceramics craft). Korea has stunning national parcs and the food is very diffrent from Japanese or Chinese food.
