Gerai, pripažinsiu – neįmanoma man (turbūt) jau sustoti kolekcionuoti šiuos mažyčius OPI grožius buteliukuose. OPI jau greičiausiai turėtų man pradėti mokėti. Juokauju, žinoma. Tačiau užvakar įsigijau dar vieną nagų laką (iš 2015m. Vasaros “Hawaii” kolekcijos) ir vėl noriu pasidalinti su jumis jo grožiu.  

“Lost My Bikini in Molokini” is gorgeous violet/periwinkle creme shade. I feel like this has the perfect balance of blue and purple, it looks more purple, but it’s not that deep or intense and vibrant purple, it’s a little softer than that and more reminiscent of aforementioned flowers. Utterly beautiful. The application was a total breeze, I barely needed 2 coats to make this look presentable, the polish itself was quite even and not too gunky. Overall – a great addition to my collection and yet another strong performer from OPI’s Hawaii collection. I feel like this collection is shaping up to be a real hit – not only do the colors look fantastic, but the formulas seem to be quite great as well. I really, REALLY wanted to catch their “Hello Hawaii Ya“, but I believe it was sold out at my local nail polish store. *sadface* Oh well.. I guess I’ll have to wait for a restock. As for this one – totally recommend. Who would be able to resist wearing this beautiful flower-y shade on your nails? Apparently not me.

“Lost My Bikini in Molokini” – kreminė violetinė spalva, primenanti našlaites/žiemes. Mano akimis, čia išlaikytas puikus mėlynos ir violetinės balansas, nagų lakas daugiau violetinis, tačiau jis nėra pernelyg tamsus ar intensyvus, spalva kiek švelnesnė ir tikrai turinti panašumų su paminėtomis gėlėmis. Absoliutus grožis. Lakas tepėsi itin lengvai, vos reikėjo antro sluoksnio, o pats lakas – lygus ir netirštas. Apibendrinant – puikus priedas mano “kolekcijai” ir dar vienas puikus nagų lakas iš šių metų “Hawaii” kolekcijos. Kuo toliau, tuo labiau įsitikinu šios kolekcijos gerumu – ne tik spalvos atrodo fantastiškai, bet ir patys lakai kokybe pranoksta vienas kitą. Labai, LABAI norėjau pačiupti “Hello Hawaii Ya” spalvą, tačiau Nagavitoje ji jau buvo išpirkta.. Bandysiu laukti papildymo (jei toks bus). O būtent šią spalvą – tikrai rekomenduoju. Kas galėtų atsispirt tokiai gražiai gėliškai spalvai? Ne aš..

Hey there! Hope you all had a great Easter weekend! I’m here with yet another nail polish review by OPI! And it’s from their Hawaii collection, again. Got this on a whim yesterday, well not necessarily a whim – I’ve wanted this color for quite a while, I just wasn’t sure if it was “my type”, ya know? Well, I’ll be damned. It’s gorgeous!

Sveiki! Tikiuosi apturėjot puikų Velykinį savaitgalį! Aš ir vėl čia, su dar viena OPI nagų lako apžvalga. Ir vėl iš jų “Hawaii” kolekcijos. Ilgai nesvarsčiusi gavau šią spalvą vakar, nors nepasakyčiau, jog visai nesvarsčiusi – šios spalvos norėjau jau senokai, tik nebuvau įsitikinusi, jog ji man tiks ir patiks.. Kad mane velniai kur! Mano akimis, spalva – nuostabi!

“This Color’s Making Waves“ – is an ocean blue shimmer, filled with golden micro specks. Ethereal and awe-inspiring, I tell you. Definitely not a color for everyone’s taste, but I’m already in love with it. The color has an almost metallic finish to it and under different lighting, it reveals its different hues – it shifts from blue to bluish green, and sometimes you can also notice some purple in it. The golden specks also look fantastic, as if Sun was bathing in the Pacific Ocean.. So dreamy. I caught myself a few times just sitting and staring at my nails, haha. This particular color required 3 thin coats to achieve an even finish, the application was easy and quite effortless. I honestly have no idea how many people would enjoy this kind of color, since it’s not your average everyday nude or pink, but if you’re into sea greens/blues and shimmers, or just want a unique and dreamy color to add to collection – “This Color’s Making Waves” is definitely the way to go.

“This Color’s Making Waves” – blizgi vandenyno mėlynumo spalva, kupina mažyčių auksinių blizgučių. Žadą atimanti spalva, rimtai. Garantuotai ne kiekvienos skoniui, tačiau aš jau dabar kone įsimylėjusi. Spalva kažkiek primena skystą metalą, o esant skirtingams apšvietimams, atsiskleidžia įvairesni lako atspalviai – spalva kinta nuo mėlynos iki vandenyną primenančios melsvai žalsvos, o kartais galima pastebėti ir kažkiek violetinės. Auksiniai blizgučiai taip pat atrodo fantastiškai, tarsi Saulė “maudytųsi” Ramiajame vandenyne.. Atrodo svajingai. Keletą sykių “prigavau” save tiesiog sėdinčią ir spoksančią į savo nagus. Lygiam pasidengimui prireikė 3 “plonų” sluoksnių, o pats dengimasis buvo lengvas ir nereikalaujantis didelių pastangų. Nė neįsivaizduoju, kiek žmonių tokia spalva kristų į akis, kadangi tai akivaizdžiai neprimena paprastų ir kasdieniškų kūno spalvos ar rožinių nagų lakų, tačiau jei jums patinka melsvos/žalsvos blizgios spalvos ar tiesiog norite savo kolekciją papildyti unikalia, svajinga ir išskirtine spalva – “This Color’s Making Waves” tikrai galėtų būti būtent tai, ko jums reikia.

Don’t be mistaken – my hands aren’t that dark. That’s just me, trying to play around with the lighting, trying to capture the color of the nail polish as accurately as possible.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a “nail polish” post, eh? Yeah.. You’re probably thinking I’m busy, but that’s not quite right. The thing is – I’m just awfully lazy, like really. That’s a bad habit for so many reasons, but we’re not here to discuss my lifestyle (or the lack of it), are we? So let’s jump straight to things that matter the most (at this moment) – nail polish.

A few months ago, OPI released their newest 2015 Spring/Summer collection.. and it’s inspired by Hawaii. Consider me sold. Not sure if I’ll go all out and try to buy the whole collection (2014 Brazil collection.. anyone?), but the colors are so gorgeous. Definitely something that I’d love to wear on my trip to Hawaii that’s probably not going to happen. Ever.

Jau ilgą laiką nesirodžiau čia su įrašais apie nagų lakus, tiesa? Greičiausiai pagalvosit, kad esu labai užsiėmusi, tačiau tiesa nebūtinai tokia. Iš tikrųjų – tiesiog esu labai labai tingus padarėlis ir tą sakau kuo rimčiausiai. Tai blogas įprotis dėl daugelio priežasčių, tačiau mes čia juk “nesusirinkom” aptarti mano veiklų aktyvumo (ar tiksliau, aktyvumo stygiaus), taip? Tad metas sutelkti dėmesį į dalykus, kurie yra svarbiausi (šią akimirką) – nagų lakai.

Prieš keletą mėnesių OPI išleido savo naujausią 2015m. Pavasario/Vasaros kolekciją.. ir ji įkvėpta Havajų.. Aš jau akivaizdžiai galiu būriuotis šalia fanų. Nežinia ar bandysiu susipirkti visą kolekciją, bet spalvos pasakiškai gražios. Tikrai tokios, kokiomis galėčiaus lakuotis savo kanopėles įsivaizduojamų ir niekad neįvyksiančių atostogų Havajuose metu.

“That’s Hula-rious” is a pale pistachio green creme. 3 coats were required to achieve an even, stroke-free finish, which isn’t too bad, considering the fact that pale cremes sometimes tend to apply pretty horribly. The color itself.. such beauty, isn’t it? Definitely makes me think of beaches and sand, slightly tan skin, short nails and fruit cocktails, haha. Very uplifting and perfect for summer, just like the whole Hawaii collection is. Looks a tad similar to another color by OPI – “Gargantuan Green Grape”, but I don’t own that one, so I can’t compare the two. I once again think OPI nailed it with their summer collections, but I’d love to get my hands of a couple more colors to see if they’re really just as good as they look. As for this one – totally recommend. Thinking of my spring/summer garderobe, I think I’d totally be able to rock this a lot and often. And I think everyone would, too.

“That’s Hula-rious“ – blyški pistacijų/mėtinė kreminė spalva. Tepiau tris sluoksnius tam, kad išgaučiau lygų ir gražų rezultatą, kas nėra jau taip blogai, atsižvelgiant į tai, kad labai šviesios kreminės spalvos neretai tepasi gan sudėtingai ar net išvis baisiai. O pati spalva… koks grožis! Iškart priverčia mane pagalvoti apie paplūdimius, kiek įdegusią odą, trumpus nagus ir vaisių kokteilius. Pakelianti nuotaiką ir labai tinkanti vasarai spalva, kaip ir (sakyčiau) visa Havajų kolekcija. Pažvelgus atrodo kiek panaši į kitą OPI spalvą – “Gargantuan Green Grape”, tačiau šios neturiu, tad abiejų sulyginti negaliu..
Ir vėl manau, kad OPI “pataikė pirštu tiesiai į akį” su šia kolekcija, tačiau vis dėlto labai norėčiau prigriebti dar keletą spalvų, kad įsitikinčiau ar jos tikrai tokios pat geros, kaip kad atrodo gražios. O kalbant apie šią konkrečią spalvą – tikrai galėčiau rekomenduoti. Kai pagalvoju apie savo pavasarinį/vasarinį “garderobą”, tikrai manau, kad galėčiau tokią spalvą “dėvėti” daug ir dažnai. Kaip ir visi kiti norintys.

Scientific fact – Badger produces the CUTEST product packaging ever. Ermahgerd!

For someone who loves nail polish as much as I do, taking care of my nail cuticles is a must. Because bright, beautiful nails and dry, sore nail cuticles just “don’t get along” in my books. After finishing a pot of Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream (which I enjoyed), I decided to move on and get Badger’s Cuticle Care Balm with Soothing Shea Butter.

And while I liked the Burt’s Bees Cuticle Cream, I think Badger Cuticle Care Balm is the definitely superior one. It has a milder and more soothing scent compared to Burt’s Bees (although still quite citrus-y) , and its’ texture is just dreamy. It’s a soft and creamy balm, once applied to your nails, it quickly melts and with repeated use, makes your cuticles look a lot healthier, nourished and polished. You can also use this balm as an overnight treatment for your hands, but I haven’t tried that out. Again, compared to Burt’s Bees, I feel like Badger’s Cuticle Care is lighter and softer in texture, whereas Burt’s Bees Cream is harder, heavier and it can feel like it’s sitting on top of my cuticles. Yet, Badger’s Balm feels more nourishing. Overall, it’s such a delightful product to use – not only it is beneficial to your nails, but its’ scent is also relaxing and always forces me to either sniff the balm itself or my nails haha. And of course… the packaging! Whenever I see a Badger product, I want to squeak. Just a little. Cuteness Overload. The product contains such ingredients like Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Beeswax, Essential Oils of Geranium, Mandarin and Lemongrass. And, for the price of just $5.99 ($5.39 on iHerb.com for a .75 / 21gr tin) you just can’t go wrong. It’s amazing. I use it almost daily.

Žmogui, mėgstančiam nagų lakus taip kaip aš, nagų odelių priežiūra yra būtinas dalykas. Nes ryškūs ir gražūs nagai bei sausos, žaizdotos nagų odelės tarpusavy visiškai “nedraugauja”. Tad sunaudojusi Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter nagų odelių kremo indelį, nusprendžiau išbandyti Badger Cuticle Care tos pačios paskirties balzamą, savo sudėty turinčio raminančio taukmedžio sviesto.

Ir net jei man patiko Burt’s Bees kremas, mano nuomone, Badger nagų odelių balzamas – kur kas pranašesnis produktas. Jo kvapas – švelnesnis ir labiau raminantis, palyginus su Burt’s Bees (nors vis dar kiek citrusinis), o tekstūra pasakiška. Minkšta ir balzaminė, produktą užtepus ant nagų, jis iškart ištirpsta ir kiek panaudojus, suteikia kur kas sveikesnių, pamaitintų ir glotnių nagų odelių išvaizdą. Balzamą taip pat galima naudoti nakčiai rankų odai, tačiau pati šitai paskirčiai produkto dar neišbandžiau. Vėl gi, palyginus su Burt’s Bees,  Badger balzamo konsisntencija atrodo lengvesnė ir minkštesnė, kuomet Burt’s Bees – kur kas sunkesnė, kietesnė ir kartais “sėdinti” ant nagų odelių paviršiaus. Nepaisant to, Badger balzamas – efektyvesnis. Apibendrinant, Badger Cuticle Care – toks malonus produktas, ne tik kad naudingas nagams ir aplink esančioms odelėms, bet ir malonaus bei kiek atpalaiduojančio kvapo dėka vis verčiantis mane arba atsidarius dėžutę uostyti patį balzamą, arba uostyti savo pačios nagus.. Ir žinoma.. įpakavimas! Kiekvieną kartą pamačius Badger produktą, norisi truputėlį sucypti. Iš to mielumo. Produkte rasite tokius ingredientus kaip taukmedžio sviestą, alyvuogių aliejų, pelargonijų, mandarinų bei citrinžolės eterinius aliejus. O ir už tokią kainą – $5.99 (iHerb.com – $5.39 už 21gr dėžutę), nemanau, jog galit stipriai prašauti. Puikus produktas.

Badger Cuticle Care Balm – A+ (5/5)

Visada turiu su savimi nedidukę užrašinę (ar tiesiog naudojuosi telefonu) tam, kad galėčiau užsirašyti visus savo dabartinius “troškimus” :D. Tokį įrašą jau buvau rašiusi vasarą, tad pagalvojau, jog būtų visai smagu tą pakartoti – šį kartą tai jau “Rudens/Žiemos” norų sąrašas. Žinoma, jis nėra visiškai detalus ir aiškus, kadangi realybėje, manau, mūsų visų norų “sąrašai” yra kur kas ilgesni.. Kadangi sąraše net 12 produktų, nenorėdama per daug išsiplėsti, informaciją pateiksiu anglų kalba (bent kol kas). Ateityje galbūt įrašą redaguosiu, tačiau dabar, visi klausimai – laukiami komentarų skiltyje.

1. The first one is Sigma‘s “Warm Neutrals” palette. Ok, so I know this isn’t a new product, but the shadows look gorgeous. I’ve never tried any of Sigma’s products before, I’ve wanted to try their brushes for the longest time (didn’t even include them here, it would be too obvious), but the more I think of this eyeshadow palette, the more I like it. It has 12 matte and shimmer eyeshadows, a few great transition shades, a couple of deep cranberry and pink-ish hues. Lovely. Costs $39, which isn’t TOO bad for a quality eyeshadow palette, but the main problem for me is that I can’t buy this without it getting stuck in customs. And it also would be pretty hard for me to justify buying another eyeshadow palette, when I already have a few. On the other hand, I don’t have any rose-toned eyeshadows.. Heh, decisions.

2. I LOVE NARS “Velvet Matte” Lip Pencils (I have “Dolce Vita”, review coming soon), which basically explains why I want more. And their “Satin Lip Pencil” in “Biscayne Park” looks so simple, yet beautiful. It’s a little pricey makeup item, as it costs $25 and the pencil needs to be sharpened (so you waste a little bit of product), but I swear I’ll have this one. I always feel so self-conscious, when I wear dark or bright lip colors, so this light pink-guava shade will be perfect for me.

3-4-5. Products from 3 to 5 are all from One Love Organics. I’ve been “stalking” this brand for quite some time, by stalking I mean – reading everything I can about their products. And all of them look so lovely. I have sensitive, combo/oily acne-prone skin that tends to get dry in some areas (quite a combination, right?), so only God knows what kind of products do I need to tame all my skin monsters. But maybe OLO will do the trick? Nonetheless, their “Easy Does It” cleanser for face (body and hair, too!) looks like a great gentle product, that could cleanse my skin without drying it out too much. Because drying your skin out, even if it’s oily, doesn’t work, really. It’ll only make things worse, I know. Also OLO’s “Morning Glory” Complexion Booster and “Brand New Day” Microderma Scrub & Masque look like exactly those type of products, that could help brighten my skin and get rid of all blackheads and dry patches. My skin usually looks dull and “dead”, and I’ve heard some wonders about “Morning Glory”, it looks like a product I would totally like, especially if it’s indeed lightweight. “Brand New Day” is more of a chemical exfoliator (as it contains pineapple enzymes), instead of a physical one, so maybe it would help me get rid of those blackheads, eh? I love exfoliating (Acure Organics’ Brightening Scrub is a current favorite of mine), and while it helps me with my dry/dead skin patches, it doesn’t really do a major job with my blackheads (at least all of them), which is sad. Minus? OLO products are… quite expensive, that’s why I haven’t gone on an online “shopping spree”, but who knows, I might do that later.

6. I didn’t know Acure Organics released a new lip product! It’s their “Lip Lush” in “Date Worthy“. From the internet pictures, it looks like a lovely sheer lip gloss – something I could really enjoy. And it isn’t expensive, a huge bonus. Unfortunately, it’s currently sold out on iherb.com, so I probably won’t be getting this one for quite some time, I guess.

7. Another product by Acure Organics. Do I need to say one more time how much I like their skincare products? Their facial wash, their facial scrub, their argan oil.. Ugh. So much greatness. So it’s really natural that I want more. This time it’s their Rose + Red Tea facial toner meant for combo/oily skin. I’ve heard some great things about this product from Shannon Sullivan’s Youtube videos (here), so I’m hoping this would work on my skin as well, as I usually struggle to find a good toner that would do something to my skin. Usually, it’s just like spraying my face with a scented water – they just don’t do anything for me.

8. Anastasia Beverly Hills “Brow Wiz” in “Medium Brown“. ‘Nuff said. Everyone knows Anastasia’s products and a lot of girls have already tried and love them. Except for me, of course. I haven’t been filling in my eyebrows for the longest time, because.. it looks so hard, lol. I’ve seen so many girls, who literally overdose their eyebrow shadows/pencils, it’s so scary. And I have weird eyebrows – not black, but quite dark, a bit on the thicker side, they’re long, yet I have a couple of spare areas, so I literally have no idea how to deal with them and still look like a human being. I’ve heard some raves about this product (or their Brow Powder Duo, another product I want to try), and I love that it has a fine tip, which could make it easier to fill my sparse areas and make my eyebrows still look natural. A downside is the price ($21 for the Brow Wiz, $23 for the Powder Duo, I think), but maybe it’s worth “investing”?

9. Okay, so this is more of a “wish” by my mom, not by me. She’s a huge fan of Caudalie’s Huile Divine (I liked it too, review is coming soon, I hope), so when I told her that there is a perfume version of the Huile Divine scent, she died a little. In a good way, of course. And now, she definitely wants it. I totally understand why – not only is Huile Divine a great product to use (I use a little bit on my hair, yumm), the scent is simply captivating – florally, a little powdery, too, sooo dreamy and soft. The bad thing is that I can’t find where to buy it – Caudalie doesn’t ship it to my country. It’s also the case with most of the UK online stores, since Royal Mail doesn’t ship perfume outside of the UK. What a bummer.

10-11. Zoya!! Zoya. I’ve tried a couple of their nail polishes (here), and I absolutely loved it. The two colors that I fell in love with, are “Remy” and “Sansa“, both of them are from this years’ Fall/Winter “Ignite” collection. They look soo out of this world – so beautiful.. Just google them and you’ll see for yourself. “Remy” is described as a “brilliant indigo with copper and gold liquid metallic”, while “Sansa” is a “deep eggplant with a gold metallic sparkle”. So appropriate for winter, isn’t it? Also, being a “Game of Thrones” fan, of course I’ll want a bottle of nail polish that is named after one of the characters. A huge downside is that Zoya doesn’t ship outside of the US. Oh..why?

12. While I wasn’t really so enchanted by O.P.I.’s 2014 Christmas Collection (Gwen Stefani one), I honestly can’t find a nail polish collection that would be more appropriate for Christmas, than the “Coca-Cola” one. I bet you’re like “WHAT?”, but it’s true. Every single color of that collection is so classic and even retro-looking. They’ve got a classic “Coca-Cola Red“, a few deeper colors, and a few lighter ones, as well as a light nude polish. But… I’m not sure my country’s nail polish retailer has this collection, so if I don’t find this one – I’ll probably go with the Gwen Stefani one, it’s pretty, too, just nothing too spectacular, you know.

Aprašinėju “vasariškas” spalvas spalio vidury.. Nepaneigsiu – kamuoja gan stipri nostalgija. Ir taip – dar turiu keletą neaprašytų OPI “Brazil” kolekcijos spalvų – šį kartą tai Live.Love.Carnaval. Pamėginsiu per daug neišsiplėsti, tad pradedam!

“Live.Love.Carnaval” – is a bright coral creme. If you remember “Toucan Do It If You Try“, “Live.Love.Carnaval” is like its pinkier sister. Both are corals, both are incredibly pigmented and gorgeous. I applied two coats of this for the photos – no streakiness, just pure beauty. Do I need to mention this is a perfect color for summer? Or whenever you simply feel like going for something bright and fun. In photos, it looks borderline neon, but it’s way softer – it’s a vivid color nonetheless. If you love corals – go get it, you’ll love it!

“Live.Love.Carnaval” – tai ryški koralinė kreminė spalva. Jei prisimenat “Toucan Do It If You Try“, “Live.Love.Carnaval” yra tarsi labiau rožinė tos spalvos sesuo. Abi spalvos – koralinės, abi yra itin pigmentuotos ir nepaprastai žavingos. Tepiau du sluoksnius nuotraukoms – jokių nelygumų ar kitų problemėlių. Ar reikia paminėti, jog ši spalva – tobula vasarai? Ar tiesiog akimirkoms, kuomet norisi kažko ryškaus ir smagiai atrodančio? Nuotraukose, spalva atrodo kone neoninė, tačiau realybėje ji kur kas švelnesnė. Nepaisant to – tai gan ryški spalva. Jei mylit koralinius nagų lakus – griebkit ir šią!

O.P.I “Live.Love.Carnaval” – A (5/5)

“A England” – tai nedidelis JK nagų lakų gamintojas, įkurtas Adinos Bodanos. Panašiai kaip nagų lakų “būtikas”, sakyčiau. Tarp nagų lakų mėgėjų, jų lakai yra žinomi dėl savo gražių ir žadą atimančių holografinių spalvų, puikios kreminės konsistencijos, ir svajingų, pasakas bei legendas primenančių pavadinimų. “A England” fane save laikyčiau jau gan ilgą laiką, tačiau savotišką pradžią viskas įgavo, manau, 2012m. pradžioje, kuomet nusipirkau savo pirmąjį legendinio “Dragon” buteliuką (here). I purchased “Briarwood” along with other 2 of “A England’s” back in 2013, around Christmas, after a long struggle of almost burning my computer monitor with my obsessed eyeballs, because I was in love with this color, and when I wanted it – it was out of stock. For almost two months. And I still am, hence why I randomly decided to make a blog post on it. “Briarwood” is part of the “Burne-Jones Dream“, which was inspired by the Sleeping Beauty fairytale (read more about the collection here). The color is described as “a burgundy base color, filled with ultra-fine prismatic particles that reflect every facet of light”. And I pretty much agree with it. You guys have no idea how gorgeous this color is, I swear. The photos don’t do it ANY justice at all. In fact, I have a feeling my photos are just making it seem uglier than it is. But it is truly beautiful. After almost a year, the texture is still perfect – neither too thick, nor too thin, and it applies buttery smooth. Almost a “one-coater”. Too bad I couldn’t get my hands on “Sleeping Palace” when I was ordering, or the entire “Ballerina” collection – it’s just too damn beautiful, I feel like my heart can’t take it, haha. If you ever have a chance of trying out “A England” – do it, but remember this – once you get in, there’s no way out. Sells for  £9.00.

“Briarwood” įsigijau kartu su kitais 2 “A England” nagų lakais kažkur 2013m., prieš Kalėdas, po ilgos ir varginančios kovos, kuomet akimis vos neišdeginau savo kompiutery skylės, kadangi jau tuomet mylėjau šią spalvą, ir kuomet jos norėjau – ji buvo išpirkta. O papildymo trūko kone du mėnesius. Ir vis dar myliu šį laką, dėl to ir atsitiktinai sugalvojau apie jį parašyti. “Briarwood” yra dalis “Burne-Jones Dream” kolekcijos, kurią įkvėpė Miegančiosios Gražuolės pasaka (apie kolekciją plačiau paskaityti galite čia). Spalva apibūdinama kaip “burgundinė, turinti itin smulkių prizmatinių dalelių, atspindinčių kiekvieną šviesos aspektą”. Ir išties sutinku su šiuo apibūdinimu. Jūs nė neįsivaizduojat, kokia graži ši spalva, prisiekiu. Nuotraukos VISIŠKAI neatspindi viso spalvos grožio. Išties, mano nuotraukos, sakyčiau, net subjaurina spalvą. Bet ji tikrai labai graži. Po beveik metų – konsistencija vis dar tobula – nei per daug skysta, nei per daug tiršta, tepasi itin lygiai. Užtenka kone vieno sluoksnio. Blogai, jog negalėjau nusipirkti “Sleeping Palace” spalvos, kuomet užsakinėjau, ar “Balerinos” kolekcijos – tiesiog per daug gražūs man šie nagų lakai, toks jausmas, kad ištvert net neįmanoma. Tad jei kada nors turėsit šansą išmėginti “A England” nagų lakus – nedvejokit, bet nepamirškit – įkliuvus, kelio atgal nebebus. Kainuoja £9.00.

The application is sort of uneven and not precise enough, but I just wanted to write about this. I’ll probably update this post as soon as I wear this color again. Which is bound to happen. Second – I love the name is this polish. Everything football-related is awesome, right? As you’ve probably figured out, this is again from OPI‘s “Brazil” collection. Actually, I’ve almost got the entire collection, there are only two colors missing and I’m not sure if I’ll buy them – “Taupe-less Beach” looks awesome, but I can’t find it, and “Next Stop…The Bikini Zone” looks kinda like it’s been taken out of some grandma’s drawer. My mind may change later, but as of now, I don’t feel the immediate need to buy it.

“OPI Scores a Goal!” – is a beautiful dark plum-y red creme, looks sorta like raisins. In some photos, it looks pretty much like China Glaze’s “Purr-fect Plum”, although in reality, “Purr-fect Plum” is a tad lighter and looks more like a dark raspberry shade. Not dupes. Ok, so  I mentioned that in the photo above, the application looks a bit uneven, and it’s correct, it does look like that. It’s mainly the middle finger. Reason for that? Simple – I just messed it up. It’s actually the same as all of the dark OPI polishes that I’ve tried – the consistence is pigmented and even. Although, it was a tiny bit staining (I didn’t wear a base coat, so that could be the reason). So fear not, this probably won’t cause you any major application problems. Besides, I think it looks perfectly fine for winter/fall seasons – it’s dark, rich and can look quite elegant. OPI did indeed score a great goal with this one, I say.

Pirmiausia – atsiprašysiu už nuotraukos kokybę, kuri tikrai nekokia šį kartą. Pats “manikiūras” atrodo kiek nelygiai ir nepakankamai preciziškai, tačiau tiesiog norėjau apie tai parašyti.. Greičiausiai atnaujinsiu įrašą, kuomet dar kartą nusilakuosiu nagus šia spalva, kas anksčiau ar vėliau, tikrai įvyks. Antra – puikus pavadinimas. Na, juk viskas, kas susiję su futbolu, puiku, tiesa? Kaip greičiausiai jau susivokėt, nagų lakas ir vėl iš OPI “Brazil” kolekcijos. Tiesą pasakius, jau esu surinkusi beveik visą kolekciją – trūksta tik dviejų, tačiau nesu įsitikinus ar pirksiu jas. “Taupe-less Beach” atrodo labai gražiai, tačiau jos niekur nerandu, o “Next Stop… The Bikini Zone” atrodo, kaip ką tik ištrauktas iš kokios močiutės stalčiaus. Aišku, nuomonė mano vėliau gali ir pasikeisti, tačiau bent dabar nejaučiu nenusakomos traukos bėgt pirkt.

“OPI Scores a Goal!” – labai graži tamsi slyvų raudonio spalva, primenanti razinas. Kai kuriose nuotraukose spalva atrodo labai panaši į China Glaze “Purr-fect Plum”, tačiau realybėje “Purr-fect Plum” yra vos šviesesnė ir atrodo labiau kaip tamsi avietinė spalva. Spalvos nėra identiškos. Taigi, jau minėjau, jog viršuje esančioje nuotraukoje, lakas atrodo nelygiai užteptas, ir tai yra tiesa. Pagrinde vidurinysis pirštas. Priežastis? Paprasta – tiesiog pati susigadinau sau belakuodama. Pats lakas iš esmės toks pat kaip ir visi tamsūs bandyti OPI nagų lakai – pigmentuotas ir lygiai besidengiantis. Vis dėlto, šiek tiek dažė nagus (nenaudojau nagų lako pagrindo, galbūt dėl to taip ir nutiko). Tad galit pernelyg nesibaiminti – lakas nesukels jums didelių problemų lakavimo proceso metu. Be to, atrodo labai tinkamas žiemos sezonui – tamsus, sodrus ir galintis atrodyti elegantiškai. Sakyčiau, OPI tikrai įmušė gan gražų įvartį su šia spalva.

Praeitą savaitę buvau nusilakavusi O.P.I. “AmazON AmazOFF” laku ir dar po šiolei esu kiek nustebinta. Tai labai graži žalsvai melsva spalva su subtiliu žėrėjimu (niekur nepastebimas nuotraukose, bet egzistuojantis). Nebūčiau pagalvojusi, jog pamilsiu šią konkrečią spalvą, išvis, net neplanavau jos pirkti, jei atvirai. Iš pirmo žvilgsnio ji atrodė itin panaši į China Glaze “Exotic Encounters” laką (kurį turiu), tad nemačiau reikalo pirkti antrą buteliuką praktiškai to paties nagų lako. O Die, suklydau..

Yeah I know, you will probably tell me now – but they do look the same! Yeah, kinda. But as you can see, CG’s “Exotic Encounters” is lighter and greener, whereas “AmazON AmazOFF” is darker, has more of a blue undertone and looks a little more striking in general. Plus the “barely there” shimmer. And I do have to mention, although I love every single China Glaze polish that I own, AA’s formula is better than EE’s. It’s more pigmented and even, I barely needed a second coat. I do have to mention though, that “AmazON AmazOFF” did stain my nails a little, but that was expected. Overall, it’s a beautiful beautiful color which I do recommend (pretty much like all of the “Brazil’s” colors lol), great for summer, but I wouldn’t mind wearing this during other seasons as well.

Taip taip, žinau, greičiausiai kas nors man dabar pasakytų – bet jos juk ir atrodo vienodai! Na, kažkiek. Bet kaip matote, CG “Exotic Encounters” yra šviesesnė ir žalesnė spalva, kuomet “AmazON AmazOFF” yra tamsesnė, turinti daugiau mėlynų tonų ir šiaip ryškesnė spalva. Dar pridėkim “vos matomą” žėrėjimą. Ir turiu paminėti, jog net jei ir myliu kiekvieną savo turimą China Glaze nagų laką, AA lako tekstūra man patiko labiau nei EE. Labiau pigmentuota ir lygiau besidengianti, beveik nereikėjo 2 sluoksnio. Vis dėlto, yra ir minusas – “AmazON AmazOFF” šiek tiek nudažė mano nagus, tačiau to iš esmės ir buvo galima tikėtis. Apibendrinus – puiki ir graži spalva, kurią galėčiau rekomenduoti (kaip ir praktiškai visas “Brazil” spalvas, haha), labai tinkanti vasarai, bet neatsisakyčiau ja lakuotis nagų ir kitais sezonais.

O.P.I “AmazON AmazOFF” – A- (4,5/5)

Labas! O.P.I. ką tik išleido naują kolekciją šių metų rudeniui, kuri įkvėpta Šiaurės, Skandinavijos – galima būtų vardinti ir toliau.. Kolekcija pavadinta “Nordic” vardu ir joje rasime tikrai nemažai gražių sodrių spalvų, ir keletą “siurprizų”, siurprizais vadinčiau spalvas, kurių dažniausiai nesitikėtume rasti rudeninėse kolekcijose. “My Dogsled is a Hybrid” – viena iš tokių ir tiesiog privalėjau ją turėti.

“My Dogsled is a Hybrid” is a turquoise/seafoam green creme. Absolutely stunning. I was a little scared both this and “Thanks a Windmillion” (from 2012 Holland collection) would look too much alike, but they’re actually not similar at all. “Thanks a Windmillion” is paler, dustier, more of a sage color, and “My Dogsled is a Hybrid” looks more vibrant and distinctive. Not your average Fall color, I guess. But beautiful nonetheless. Also, what you’re seeing in this photo is one coat only. Not even lying. It already looked great with only one coat, so I didn’t see the need to apply the second one just for the sake of doing it. The polish itself is very pigmented and non-streaky. This has been compared to “Mermaid’s Tears“, which I don’t think you can get anymore, so if you’re looking for anything like that one – go get this one, it’s awesome. Or if you just want a nice nail polish for all seasons (totally suitable for spring and summer) – go get this one, too. You’ll like it.

“My Dogsled is a Hybrid” – turkio/jūros žalumo kreminė spalva. Atrodo stulbinančiai. Šiek tiek bijojau, jog atrodys pernelyg panašiai su mano turimu “Thanks a Windmillion” (iš 2012 Holland kolekcijos), tačiau iš tiesų – jų nepavadinčiau labai jau panašiais. “Thanks a Windmillion” yra blyškesnė, tarsi labiau miglota ‘šalavijų’ spalva, tuo tarpu “My Dogsled is a Hybrid” – gyvybingesnė spalva. Nelabai primenanti “standartines” rudenines spalvas, įsivaizduoju. Tačiau vis vien labai graži. Beje, tai ką jūs matote nuotraukoje, tėra vienas lako sluoksnis. Net nemeluoju. Spalva jau atrodė labai gerai ir su vienu sluoksniu, tad nemačiau reikalo tepti antrą vien tam, kad tept. Pats lakas pigmentuotas ir nesitepantis dryžiais. Ši konkreti spalva buvo gan daug sykių lyginta su “Mermaid’s Tears“, kurios jau veikiausiai nebėra prekyboje, tad jei norite kažko panašaus – griebkit šią spalvą. Arba jei tiesiog norite gražios spalvos visiems metų laikams (puikiai tiks ir pavasariui, ir vasarai) – griebkit šitą taip pat. Patiks.

Also, take a look at the rest of “Nordic” collection. I know I’ve said I’d buy every single polish of this summer’s “Brazil” collection, and I still haven’t done that, but this one’s been also messing with my mind lately… UGHHH. Why can’t I have everything? Haha. “Suzi has a Suede Tooth” looks kind of like “Kiss Me I’m Brazilian” (which I own), so no need to buy it, me thinks. “Can’t aFjord Not To” also reminds me of “Brazil’s” corals, so I probably won’t have to buy that one either. On the other hand – “Going My Way Or Norway?“; “My Voice is a Little Norse“; “Thank Glogg it’s Friday” and all of the purple-y shades look pretty rad. Me wants.

Taip pat pažvelkit ir į likusią “Nordic” kolekciją. Buvau sakius, jog susipirksiu visus “Brazil” kolekcijos lakus, to dar nepadariau, tačiau jau kurį laiką galvoj vis šita kolekcija.. UGH. Kodėl negalima visko turėti?  “Suzi has a Suede Tooth” atrodo tarsi “Kiss Me I’m Brazilian” (kurią jau turiu), tad nemanau, jog prireiktų įsigyti. “Can’t aFjord Not To” taip pat primena “Brazil” koralines spalvas, tad nemanau, jog norėsiu pirkti ir šią. Tačiau… “Going My Way or Norway?“; “My Voice is a Little Norse“; “Thank Glogg it’s Friday” ir visos purpurinės/violetinės spalvos – tikrai neprieštaraučiau, jei atsidurtų mano “naglakių stalčiuky”.
