Love following your blogs. You say “keep in mind that when you use a 10% discount coupon, your stay will not earn credits in the Rewards program”, however, what I do is find a 10% coupon available at another site like Expedia or ebookers and get a screenshot of the summary page before payment, then leave that site and book through hotels.com without using a coupon. I then claim against the BRG of hotels.com using the screenshot as proof of the cheaper competitor offer. That way I get the 10% discount and my stay counts towards the hotels.com loyalty programme. KIV hotels.com often refuse BRG claims initially, you just have to be persistent and quote their T&Cs back to them until they give in!

Many people have the elite card with Four Seasons and let me tell you it is AMAZING. I always stay at Four Seasons now because of the card and of course the lovely service and hotels. I always plan my trips now around a Four Seasons property If possible because of the elite card. They do have a loyalty program it’s just not advertised very heavily and they keep it under the radar. I would suggest that you either book thru a Virtuoso agent or better still via a Preferred Partner agency. We are both and I can certainly guarantee that bookings made thru these 2 methods will ALWAYS receive an upgrade ahead of any hotel.com booking.
When you book thru booking.com or similar search engine you are at the bottom of the pile for added benefits. As 1 who was top Four Seasons consultant in AUST I would be happy to assist any Four seasons clients and they will see the difference booking with us.

Hi there Four Seasons does have a loyalty program it’s called the elite card it is given by invitation to guest who stay at their hotels often and also are resident owners. I have the card. Also Virtuoso agents are preferred partners with Four Seasons. Some virtuoso companies have been invited to participate in the preferred partner program which always has amazing benefits but not all virtuoso agencies have this status with the hotel company because they also are invited into the program based on how many rooms they book at Four Seasons around the world.
