I keep falling in love with these videos that use cameras mounted under RC helicopters!

Now that I’ve had some time to distance myself from my wedding videography work, I’m starting to like weddings again!
Side note: Who has a RED camera as a photobooth camera at their wedding?!
The grittiness you see in this video is one of the things I love about the northeast united states.
I also love the story behind the name deadburydead. From their website: “DeadBuryDead is from a story in the Bible that I first heard in Sunday school. And the sentiment stayed with me. As the story goes, a man came to Jesus and said he wanted to follow Him, but he couldn’t leave yet. “Let me bury my father first,” the man said, meaning he must wait until his father dies in order to collect his inheritance. Jesus replied, ‘Let the dead bury their own dead.’ Jesus was telling the man to live for the moment. If his calling was to follow Him, then he should not wait.”
I dig this concept. I dig this company. I dig their story. I dig the work they produce.
I’m a sap.
Now this is an idea I can support.

Snaps from Zambia IV
My friend Patrick McDonald performing an original spoken word/slam poetry piece during ‘God Be Praised’ at Northridge Church. Dig it. You can see the full service here with the song starting at 56m36s and Patrick’s piece starting at 59m15s.
I must admit, I like me some well performed poetry.
