Some hotels have also opened (mainly ground-level resorts) and we’re slowly getting back to our daily routine. Some airlines will also start flying again at the end of this month. To sum up, everything is looking very optimistic about the upcoming summer (Although it had been 43 degrees Celsius outside the other day and it’s May right now) and I’m thrilled to travel again.

However I am not willing to risk getting quarantined either overseas or in my own home country as a result of traveling internationally.

I am a very careful traveler but I have no control over which country will impose which restrictions. The big problem is if a country decides over night to impose a new lock down or quarantine requirements. It can happen overnight and trap travelers. There is no way to predict what any particular country will do.

It will also make travel stressful if I have to monitor the situation every day to ensure that new lock down or quarantine requirements are imposed over night and trap me.

I will definitely not go on any cruises until a vaccine or effective medicine has been discovered and is easily available to everyone.
