They made us wear masks and stay a few meters away from the gorillas. If someone got to close the guides would ask that person to move back. In Rwanda we always found the guides / rules to be much more lax as tourists who touch gotillas tip better. As a tourist, I liked seeing my mother touch a gotilla in Rwanda, but as somebody who is concerned about the gorillas’ safety, I appreciated the professional nature of yhe DRC guides.

It is a comparison between Rwanda and Uganda. Additionally, some of the info provided on DRC is inaccurate. Clearly, the author did not do their research.
