Despite dreadful weather, I recently enjoyed a great holiday in Canada’s Rocky Mountains, a\u00a0pristine wilderness areas on a scale difficult to imagine.\u00a0Few places in the world offer such a diverse range of scenery<\/a> and activities, from kayaking\u00a0and spectacular drives\u00a0to backcountry hiking and wildlife spotting.\u00a0Last week, I published a\u00a0top 10 list of the best\u00a0hotels & lodges in the Canadian Rockies<\/a>, and I will give my unbiased opinion on those hotels (with pros & cons) in a series of trip reports over the coming weeks.
